Doris and I were such close friends at East High School. We shared crushes on the boys, did crazy things that we didn't tell our parents about (such as walking on the ice when Lake Erie was frozen over, etc.). We both had our first jobs at Woolworth's on Hough Avenue. Great memories -- we really thought we were just too cool.
I have so many memories of our teen years together. Hazel and Elzie should have claimed me as a dependent I was at their home so much. I remember one night when the only record she had was Twilight Time by the Platters. We all must have danced for hours to that same song. We had so many good times in the 50s.
I send my condolences to Hazel and Arnold (Bill) and all her children and grandchilden. I visited her a couple of years ago and I wish I had stayed more in touch.
She was a wonderful part of my life.##imported-begin##Jean Parks - maiden name Baker##imported-end##
