Donna Rae Tibbitts' Obituary
Donna Rae Tibbitts passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the age of 97 in Twinsburg, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 21, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Aloys and Raymond Lempke. Donna grew up alongside her sisters, Leona and Lora, who preceded her in death.
Donna's journey through life was one of enduring love and commitment. She married the love of her life, Wallace Tibbitts, who she referred to by his middle name Clifford, and they embarked on a remarkable journey together that lasted 58 years until Clifford's passing on July 30, 2011. Their union was blessed with two children, David and Denise, who sadly also preceded her in death. Donna's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brett, Traci, Nicole, David, and Blake (Lauren), and her great-grandchild, Skylar. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, her teachings, and her love for life.
Throughout her years, Donna embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and enthusiasm. Her home was a warm and welcoming place, filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the laughter of family gatherings. She had a natural talent for creating beauty in the world, a skill she expressed through her love of playing cards, assembling puzzles, and engaging in various artistic endeavors.
Donna's artistic talents were matched by her adventurous spirit. After retirement, she and Clifford traveled extensively, exploring the wonders of nature and discovering new places together. These experiences were treasured chapters in Donna's life, filled with stories that she would recount. Her faith played a significant role in her life. A devout member of the Lutheran church, Donna's beliefs guided her actions and brought her comfort throughout her life's journey.
