Donald E. Voigt's Obituary
Donald E. Voigt, 91, passed away June 22, 2023. Born January 17, 1932 in Buffalo, New York. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Mary Alice (Krupp) Voigt for over 60 years; devoted father of Kenneth (Darlene), Richard (Cheryl), John (Dianna) and Paul (Pam); loving grandfather of Kimberly (Paul) Wakefield, Brian, Timothy, Megan (Jon) Belviso, Ricky (Emily), Jenna (Brandon) Betzel and Jessie; great-grandfather of Carter, Jacob, Lucas, Kaiden and Grayson. Don will be remembered for his great sense of humor, gorgeous smile, kindness to others, his love of tennis, the Cleveland Indians, and dedicated service above self. Don was a Korean War Army veteran, actively involved in the Rotary Club, Boy Scouts, Elks Club, VFW and Veterans Outreach. He co-founded Today’s Business Products in 1984 and worked there for 30 years. He retired to Punta Gorda, Florida, where he enjoyed tennis and social activities for many years. Visitation 4-7 pm Tuesday June 27 at Jardine’s Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH. Funeral mass 10:00am Wednesday, June 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 250 Craft Street, Berea, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southwest Hospice, 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville, Ohio 44136 or Veterans Outreach, 31 East Bridge Street, Suite 300, Berea, Ohio 44017.
