Donald E. Haddad, 63, passed away September 18, 2013. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Wilds) for 36 years. Proud father of Jamie and Alison. Brother of Shirley McGurr and the late Leonard and Kenneth. Son of the late Saide and Mary Read Obituary

Donald will be missed, and remembered by many.
My cousin Donnie was a very gentle soul. He was sweet and always had
a story to tell. He could always make me laugh. He, Linda, Donnie's
parents Aunt Mary Grace and Uncle Saide all called me Barbie. I loved
that. Donnie to me was always the center of any gathering. I loved his
voice and he was a very handsome guy. He was very kind. I love you dear
and always will. I won't forget you. The Lord came to take him home.

So many stories to tell. Some I dare not. Don surely was a canoeing expert,especially when he was sitting on top of it upside down,with me stuck underneath.And Rick swimming down river to grab all our gear. He never did drop any of our beers. Someday I would like to tell you about our great raft trip. I could go on for ever. I forgot to tell you who put the Air Force flag on your bed at the clinic. Guess I never will.

So many fun memories of life on Akins Road with the Haddads! Bon fires and air horns and tractors going house to house. I remember Don testing out the water in Bills pool when it was just opened and freezing. He always made me laugh and was always there when you needed him. We will miss you Don but we will never forget how you have touched our lives.
