Most women would not be inclined to become friendly with their husband's ex-girl friend. But Diana Hall Jones was the exception; such an amazing, smart, caring, fun, gifted, loving person. And when Kyle who was the beloved resident bachelor at USCG Air Station Miami, asked Diana to be his wedded wife, it was with pure joy that my husband and I hosted an engagement party for them It was and remains to this day so wonderful celebrating the joining of two extraordinary people for thirty-two cherished years. I remember when you and Diana hosting my mom, my late wife Mary Jo's parents and me at your home on Oahu for dinner in the Spring of 1990. Ya'll's hospitality was memorable and joyful during our time of grief, as that visit was part of our healing trip approximately one year after Mary Jo's passing.
