Delno L. Shamp, 91, passed away February 1, 2017. Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Berkey) for 63 years. Devoted father of Shelley Dodge (Don), Shannan Reznik (Al) and Tracey Damian. Dear brother of Martha Whittier and preceded in death by 7 siblings. Loving grandfather of Bobby Carpenter, Dawn Yatsko, Mark Carpenter, Shyan Csatlos, James Damian and Chad Damian. Great-grandfather of 9 and great-great-grandfather of 1. Proud WWII Navy veteran and lifetime member of the VFW. Del spent his entire career supporting his family working at Westpark Excavators. He enjoyed golfing and hunting as well as being a lifetime member of Columbia Game Club. VISITATION 4-8 PM MONDAY at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE. Interment Private. Memorial Service 11 AM Tuesday at Jardine’s. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Compassus Hospice, 837 Crocker Road, Westlake, OH 44145. www.jardinefh.com
