I worked with Dave for over 7 years....he, Joe Thomas and I were best of
friends. I will keep him in my prayers.
To Jean & family: I am so sorry for your loss. I just got word of Dave's passing at 4:05 on the day of his viewing, or I would surely have been there.##imported-begin##Joe Unice##imported-end##

I worked with Dave many years ago in Los Angeles. Over the years we conversed ocassionally by phone and he always talked about his family. Know that he loved you all very much. Dave always brought a smile to people's faces with his humor and quick wit.
I will remember him with great memories.
God Bless you all. I am very sorry for your loss.##imported-begin##Vicky Sloan##imported-end##
My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Dave's family. I worked with Dave in Los Angeles for several years and he was truly a gentleman. Dave treated everyone that he came into contact with the same level of dignity and respect, no matter who they were, or what they did. He had a great sense of humor, and I can fondly remember Dave lighting up the entire squad room with laughter. Working with Dave was a pleasure. He will be missed by his extended family at the Marshals Service. May God Bless our fallen brother.##imported-begin##Steve Conboy##imported-end##
I was deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. Life-long friends are few and rare and he will be greatly missed. I am sorry that I couldn't attend his memorial service but he will be in my thoughts and prayers.##imported-begin##Barry Bentz##imported-end##
While I have lost close loved ones the sense of loss you must be feeling having lost a life partner must seem overwhelming. Trust that through the strength of the Lord David's passing will make you stronger as a family. When I first met David on a special assignment I was struck by his confidence and good nature in dealing with day to day situations. It was a pleasure working with him. Know that he will be fondly thought of often.##imported-begin##Michael Cherne##imported-end##
Jean, Renee and I are so very sorry for your loss. Dave was a good man and darn good friend to have. He was the best man to have as your partner going through a door to arrest a fugitive. He always had a good sense of humour even when things were tough. I'd bet he has St. Peter bending over laughing at one of his jokes. Mercedes and David, I want you to know that you were the light of your Dad's life. He never tired of talking about you and what you were doing. My family will be thinking and praying for you all.##imported-begin##Joe Thomas##imported-end##
