Danny Maher's Obituary
Danny J. Maher, 27, of Strongsville, passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday January 6th, 2014.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 15, 1986, to Danny & Michelle Maher (formerly Neal). Brother of Erin and Brian Maher, grandson of Ester Neal, loving nephew and cousin to his extended family, and guardian of his beloved pets Trinity, Neo, Charlie, and Jake. Danny graduated from Strongsville High School in 2004. Danny obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in September 2006. He was employed at Metro Toyota.
Danny arrived at every party with a car trunk full of board games and two large Code Red Mountain Dews. Danny loved watching shows and movies, his favorites being Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Buffy. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his great group of friends for "Tuesday Night Buffy". Danny was an all-around gamer, he loved his pc, board, and card games. He enjoyed camping and hiking with his family and friends, as well as soaking up the few warm rays Cleveland had to offer. He frequented Ground Zero where he enjoyed reading comic books, playing card and board games, and spending time with friends. Danny was proud to be an established judge and member of Magic the Gathering Judges of the Midwest (USA-Central). Whatever the adventure, he was truly happy just spending time with his family and friends. He had a sense of humor that will never be forgotten.
Please join us (to say farewell) Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. Memorial service to follow and his family has requested that everyone bring a story or memory to share.
