Daniel K. Lenarz's Obituary
Daniel K. Lenarz, 78, passed away November 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Claudia Lenarz (nee Meznarsic) for 43 years. Loving father of Debbie Jenkins (Jeremy) and Mike Lenarz (Christina). Son of the late Donald and Mary Lenarz. Brother of the late Donald Lenarz. Dear grandfather of Nolan Jenkins, Ben and Sarah Lenarz, and the late Dylan and Nash Jenkins.
Dan began his career at Sun Finance. Later, at Ohio Bell, he met his wife, Claudia. He worked as an auditor and manager of billing programmers. He retired after 25 years of service. He was strong but gentle, fun and funny, kind, and generous. Dan loved Debbie and Mike with his whole heart; they were the center of his universe. He loved the Browns and the Indians. He took pride in his hobby of weightlifting and physical fitness. He loved learning and reading, but his passion was music, the Cleveland Orchestra, and anything by Beethoven. He will be missed by family and friends. We can’t thank you all enough for your prayers and positive thoughts over the last month. You gave us strength and hope and for that we will be forever grateful.
A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, November 27, 2021 at 10:30AM at First Lutheran Church, 19419 Royalton Rd., Strongsville OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cleveland Orchestra, 11001 Euclid Ave, Cleveland OH 44106. www.jardinefh.com
