Our son is now 49. Dr. Hostetler was just beginning his practice in Parma and came to MacDonald House to do our newborn exam before discharge. We were blessed by his wisdom, kindness, and professional care as our pediatrician. Our prayers go out to all his family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Dr. Hostetler's family. His memory will live on as will his great impact on pediatrics, juvenile diabetes and the community. In working the window at Pediatric Services, I remember asking what "No chg P/C" meant on the chart. "Oh, that is Dr. Hostetler. It means no charge. He'll do that a lot."

Dr. Hostetler will be greatly missed! He was a great friend to our family and pediatrician to all of us Bryk kids. Sending all our thoughts and prayers.
One of my most memorable days was a Sunday at the office. There was a bomb threat to the building. We had to evacuate. We opened up the back of my mini-van, he sat in back and had the kids hop up, we saw everyone, there in the parking lot. Opening day lunch parties, cold strong coffee, staying late, coming in early, working through lunch , morning hugs.
15 years as a patient, 36 as an employee and friend. I will miss him greatly, I will miss pulling up his drive to stop in and say Hi. Love you lots Hos, you will never be forgotten by the thousands whos life you touched, Cheers.
