Dana Lynn Bias' Obituary
Columbia Station – Dana Lynn Bias, 60, of Columbia Station OH, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021, after losing his courageous battle with a long illness. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 6, 1960. He attended North Eaton Church of God.
Dana was known for his love of family, and his loyalty to his life-long friends. He loved taking the grandchildren shopping, and taking them out for dinner. He loved to drive his Jeep, and was obsessed with doing all of the maintenance, whether it was needed or not. He also enjoyed watching classic science fiction movies. Dana was a mason and worked in several states.
He is survived by his mother Lois Jean Greene and step-father Earl Greene; Brother Jackie Bias, daughters Ashley Nicole Gaines and Courtney Ann Scott; four grandchildren Gracie, Wyatt, Anthony, Farrah. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Bias.
Dana’s wishes were to be placed next to his father’s gravesite at Columbia Township Cemetery, Columbia Station, Ohio. The family will celebrate his life privately at this time due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers at Hospice of Southwest General and to Midview Drug in North Eaton for all of their care.
Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there’s a memory, they live in our hearts forever.
Celebration of Life will be held at North Eaton Church of God, 12096 Island Road, Grafton, Ohio on Saturday, January 23rd at 1 p.m. with a service by Pastor Sam Williams. If you are not comfortable attending due to Coronavirus, the family understands completely and your thoughts and prayers will be felt. Safety is of the utmost importance.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Jardine Funeral Home, Strongsville, Ohio.
