Cyril "Cy" Urbancic Jr's Obituary
Cyril “Cy” Urbancic Jr, 91, passed away February 17, 2024. Beloved husband of 68 years to Joanne C. Urbancic. Loving father of Cindy J. Urbancic, Cy Urbancic (Gail), Sandy Intihar (Chris) and the late Chris Urbancic (Stacy; surviving). Son of the late Cyril and Carolina (nee Muzic) Urbancic. Dear grandfather of Courtney Arens, Chip Urbancic, Charlie Urbancic, Wil Intihar, Alie Intihar, Chris Urbancic II, Nick Urbancic and Abby Urbancic. Great grandfather of Haiden and Caroline Arens.
Cy attended James Ford Rhodes High School and graduated in 1951, and from Case Institute of Technology in 1955. Cy served in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain from 1955-1957. He was honorably discharged in 1969. After his time in the Air Force, Cy worked as an executive for the Richard E. Jacobs Group from 1968-2000. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to give special thanks to Michele Roberto, extended family, and to his caregiver, Ira Agbou.
VISITATION WEDSNESDAY, February 21, 2024 from 3PM-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will take place on THURSDAY, February 22, 2024 with visitation beginning at 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Royalton. Interment private.
