Constance Louise Parashelie nee Venca nee Bencivenni of Strongsville, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. She was born in Cleveland May 16, 1934 and excelled in life for 86 years. She was the daughter of Mollie Venca nee Martincic and Barney Venca. She was devoted to her mother. Her step-father Jack Metro (deceased) would paint her picket fence and watch the ballgames across the sreet.
She mourned the passing of her brother Raymond and her sister Theresa Bogdan. Theresa and Connie shared a special bond and would talk on the phone nearly every day, often multiple times a day.
She cherished all her in-laws considering them blood relatives. Connie valued their wisdom and caring natures.
Connie was married to Joe Bencivenni (deceased) and Charlie Parashelie (deceased). She is survived by her daughter Lucille Battisti, grandchildren Nick (Shelly) Schneider and Christina (Patrick) Delaney and 3 great-grandchildren. This woman truly enjoyed the grandkids' farm, particularly those chickens!
Connie found her ideal mate in Charlie. They cooked, labored the yard, cooked, played with the kids and dogs, and cooked.
She was a loving aunt and a friend to many. She loved talking and laughing with her nieces and nephews. Connie P. cherished her rescue animals, especially her dog Leia.

Ma withdrew from school the 1st day of 9th grade to work to help support her family. She served as a professional waitress and head waitress from 14 into her 60's. Often times she was requested by notable musicians and athletes. (Thanks, Mom, for the autographs even when you didn't know how famous they were.) Following "retirement" she served as a caretaker to home-bound women.
Talk about an avid gardener. People stopped to tell her how beautiful her yard was, even leaving notes in her mailbox. Now lets talk food, Whether Slovenian, Italian, or Greek, she mastered all styles. She was the happiest in the kitchen baking from 6 a.m. until midnight. Connie wowed with her cheesecake.
Connie liked to bake and then give it away.
The family would love to embrace hugs, however, we will practice loving looks of appreciation. All family and friends must remain safe. Respectfully, the family requires the wearing of a face mask and social distancing.
