Cline Siegenthaler's Obituary
Cline Siegenthaler, 87, died December 19, 2020 at Thomas Perciak Family Residential Hospice in Strongsville, Ohio after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born on December 15, 1933 in Charleston, West Virginia to Jane (nee Trippett) and Wilbur Siegenthaler. He spent his formative years in Bellaire, Ohio and graduated from Bellaire High school in 1952. He earned a bachelor’s in business from Kent State University in 1957. Mr. Siegenthaler had a successful career first in Quality Control and then moving into Management in the fastener business. He married his high school sweetheart, Joanne (nee Suchan) in 1954 with whom he celebrated 66 wedding anniversaries. They reared three daughters and a son and gained three sons-in-law, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Cline is survived and dearly missed by his wife Joanne Siegenthaler, daughters Vicki (George) Ladesic, Jane (Tom) Jasko, Penny (Mark) Claudio, and son Cline A. Siegenthaler. He is also survived by a sister, Julie Kiser and a brother, Jerry Siegenthaler. Grandchildren, all of whom adored him, include: Katie (Jasko) Spence, Matthew Claudio, Karli (Jasko) Conrad, Amanda (Ladesic) Bshero, Jessica Claudio, Joseph Ladesic, Kelly Jasko, Steven Claudio, Kyle Jasko and Kevin Jasko. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Calvin Siegenthaler and James Siegenthaler. He was a member of the Strongsville United Methodist church for sixty years. He enjoyed reading, movies, bicycling, and card and board games. Cline was proud of his military service, attaining the rank of Captain, Military Police Corp. US Army from which he was honorably discharged in 1969. ALL SERVICES PRIVATE. Interment at Strongsville Cemetery.
