My mom saw this notice and let me know. As a kid, adults could be scary. Mr. Murphy always exuded warmth, was generous with his laughter and easily made me feel special as a kid. As a parent myself now, I try to be as approachable to my girls' friends as he was for me. I fondly remembered the nickname he gave me, which was "amiable."
Here's to knowing that his Love and Spirit will always be around his loved ones.
