Claudia Ann Lenarz's Obituary
Claudia Ann Lenarz (née Meznarsic), 77, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 8, 2026.
Born on August 28, 1948, in Cleveland, Claudia was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Kenneth Lenarz and a loving mother to Debbie Jenkins (Jeremy) and Mike Lenarz (Christina). She was a cherished grandmother to Nolan Jenkins, Ben and Sarah Lenarz, and was preceded in death by her grandsons Dylan and Nash Jenkins. Claudia was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Meznarsic (née Falkenstein) and the loving sister of Janice Iglehart.
She was a graduate of Fairview Park High School and Wittenberg University and retired after a long career as a manager at Ohio Bell and Ameritech. Claudia was known for her outgoing personality, warmth, caring heart, and sense of humor. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, bowling, attending performances by The Cleveland Orchestra, and was active in First Lutheran Church. She was passionate about Cleveland baseball and instilled a deep love for the game in her children.
Above all, Claudia was a devoted mother and grandmother who deeply loved her family. Her familiar words, “love you more than most,” will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 10:30am at First Lutheran Church in Strongsville, 19419 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cleveland Orchestra, 11001 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106.
