Charles "Chuck" Staley's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Staley, 88, passed away October 9, 2023. Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Lita Staley. Loving father of Lynn Tinnirello (the late Vince) and Leslie Leis (Blake). Son of the late Robert and Josephine Staley. Brother of Jack Staley and the late Susie, Barb, Otis and Bud (Tootsie;surviving). Cherished grandfather of Morgan Barnard (Alex), Mallory Tinnirello and Cole Leis. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Chuck enlisted in the Army-Air Force and served during the Korean War. Chuck and his wife, Lita, met in Sunday School and they had been inseparable since. He retired after 33 years at General Motors working as a Tool & Die Maker. Chuck loved to go golfing, bowling, travelling anywhere – especially to casinos and he enjoyed collecting lighthouses. He was an active volunteer at Strongsville United Methodist Church. Above all else, Chuck loved spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
VISITATION THURSDAY 3PM-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A private funeral service will be held for the family. Interment Strongsville Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service for Chuck and Lita will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd, Strongsville OH 44136.
