Charles "Chuck" Thall's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Thall, 52, passed away on Friday, August 26th, 2022 from injuries sustained from a car accident.
He was born on April 9th, 1970 to Milton and Bobbette Thall in Painesville, Ohio.
Chuck attended Fairport Harding High School graduating in the class of 1988. Following primary school, he continued his education at Case Western Reserve University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance.
He married Michelle Pettit on May 11th, 1996. They have been married for 26 years.
Chuck was the owner of RaeTrent Remodeling as well as Strongsville Fence. He was the founder of Discover Fairport Harbor and established a scholarship in honor of his grandfather, Donald S. Thall Memorial Scholarship, at Fairport Harding High School.
He loved sports and contributing to the community. Chuck was an avid Ohio State football fan and loved watching Sunday football with his family. He coached basketball and football in the city of Strongsville and loved being a mentor. He took part in many organizations throughout the city. Chuck loved to play golf with his friends and family.
Chuck was a family man. They will always remember him for his dad jokes and one- liners. He was a very giving, kind, and nostalgic man.
He is survived by his parents, Milton and Bobbette; his wife Michelle; children Rachel, Trent, and Mackenzie Thall; siblings Karen Thall, Robert (Dawn) Thall, and Lynne Thall; sister-in-law Kim Malley; nieces and nephews Peter, Cyrene, Josh, Taylor, Lindsey, Jake, and Brooklyn; and dear lifelong friend Mike Doutt.
He is preceded in death by his brother Daniel Thall; and his grandparents Donald and Eve Thall.
VISITATION will be held on THURSDAY, September 8th, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. MEMORIAL SERVICE to follow at 7:00 p.m. the same day.
