I have so many memories of Carolyn; and the one single thread in all of them was that she was smiling. Carolyn always had the most wonderful smile. From her Party Lite parties to family gatherings to church to dining. One of my favorite memories was a huge cook out she and Bill were having. I don't remember what the party was for, just that there was one. Carolyn had decided to make from margaritas in the bucket. She, and I, were do excited to have them. We opened the bucket up and it was a block of ice. We couldn't get to the tequila mixture. Here she had forgotten to stir the concoction so the mix and tequila were on the bottom and the water had ended up on the top into a frozen block of ice. And what did C do? She smiled and laughed. I will never forget her smile and laugh. God speed my friend. My life was better because I had you as a friend.
