Blair Paul LaCour's Obituary
Blair Paul LaCour, 73, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2020. Beloved husband of Linda E. LaCour (nee Kenney); dearest father of Blair A. (Kim Boal) LaCour, Danielle (Dustin) Hemming, and Richard (Beth Cushing) LaCour. Loving grandfather of Linda A., Brett A., and Blair W. LaCour; Collin J., Morgan L., and Mason P. Hemming. Devoted son of the late Richard and Hedwig (nee Kordasiewicz) LaCour. Cherished uncle, loving cousin and friend to many.
Blair was born in Philadelphia in 1947. He attended St. Bernard’s grade school, Father Judge High School, University of Notre Dame, California State University. Employed by the 3M Company from 1969 – 1981 and the Sherwin Williams Company from 1981 retiring in 2007.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on July 17th at 12 Noon at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington Street Medina, OH 44256. To practice social distancing a limited number of seats will be available. Masks will be required in Church. You are welcome to remain in your car and follow the mass on channel 101.5 FM. Communion will also be available. We understand that as our community continues to face challenges with the coronavirus pandemic, attending a Funeral Mass may not be in your best health interest, please be with us in your thoughts and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Ignatius High School, Advancement Office – Gift Steward, 1911 West 30th St. Cleveland, OH 44113.
