Blaine C. Davis' Obituary
Blaine C. Davis, 60, passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2022.
He was born on March 6th, 1962 in Cleveland to James and Barbara (nee Slaughter) Davis.
He began his high school education at West Tech. During his 11th grade year, he began at Marlington High School where he graduated in the class of 1980. He went on to complete some college before he joined the Army.
Blaine married the love of his life, Laura (Stockfish) Davis, on August 16th, 1998. They have been married for 24 years.
He was the Director of Revenue Management at Yardi Systems. Blaine had worked there for 12 years. He was also a member of the Sunny Brook Trout Club.
Blaine had a lot of special hobbies that included fishing, barbecuing, cooking for his family, tasting and collecting bourbon, and gardening. His tomatoes and barbeque sauce had won multiple ribbons at the county fair. He had a special talent for giving nicknames.
Above all, he had a very special relationship with his family. His two children were his pride and joy. They had a family group chat and talked to each other daily. Whether it was attending flea markets, the street get-togethers, or going on vacations, Blaine adored spending time with his family and two dogs, Frisco (Steve) and Tilly (Bart). Him and Laura would take the dogs on walks through the park and it is something they both enjoyed.
He loved life and many will remember his witty, smart, and goofy personality.
Blaine is survived by his wife, Laura; mother Barbara; children Cameron and Jessica Davis; siblings Penny Davis (Todd Noethen), Jim (Denise) Davis, Mark (Kris) Davis, Mike (Nada) Davis, Matt (Trish) Davis, and Melissa (Brian) DeMarco; also a beloved uncle and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his father James Davis and his grandparents.
VISITATION will be held on FRIDAY, October 28th, from 3pm - 7pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. There will be no funeral services at this time.
