When Betty was in a depression after Jim died she wanted to go to Las Vegas so I said let's go. We had a great time and she even did a picture with a chippendale performer. We had so much fun and laughed a lot.

When I would talk to her at Brookdale, she was always smiling and kind. I used to laugh, she always told me how handsome my father was. I think she had her eye on him.
