Bethanne went to high school with my husband Joe. As a result, she befriended me when I arrived at Zellers. She was a champion; a woman of great strength! She fought like a champion and proved that she was made of resilience, determination, grit, and faith. Her example will be impressed forever upon her daughters, family, students, and friends. She faced this disease on her terms and didn't allow it to change her outlook or the way she embraced life, with love, hope, and passion. Her legacy is well written upon those of us who loved her!

Please know that the girls and I have been thinking and praying for all of you and will continue to do so. My greatest memory of Bethanne is during many church choir practices.
