Bernard M. Ziebro's Obituary
Bernard (Bernie/Ben) Michael Ziebro, age 84, passed away on Friday November 6, 2009. He was born in Cleveland to Helen (Dzion) and Andrew Ziebro. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Irmgard (Wanneck) and former wife of 32 years and mother of his nine children Dorothy (Sopko). Loving father of Thea O'Donoghue (Fulton); Rochelle Thuener (Ross); Ben Ziebro, Jr. (Lynn); Lanita Priebe (Jerry); Faith Lightfoot (Tim); Mark Ziebro, Christopher Ziebro (Joy); Brenda Jumpa (Jim) and Jason Ziebro (Mandy). Grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 31. A WWII veteran he served in the U.S. Navy (43-46) U.S.S. Neuendorf, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Merchant Marines. He was a self-employed drywall/plasterer until he retired. He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, dancing, playing the organ and trombone, a good cigar and was always the life of the party. He lived his life with an unwavering commitment to God, family and country. He impacted the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
