Ben C. Sprague's Obituary
Ben C. Sprague age 92 of Strongsville OH passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019. Beloved husband of 70 years to the late Jean M. Sprague. Cherished father of Lorrie, Larry, Lynne Herald (John), and Lonna Sprague-Hunt. Loving grandfather of Aaron, Jennifer, Ryan, Jessica. Kaitlin, Logan, Derek, Hayden, and Austin. Loving great grandfather of Elise. Ben was the owner of Sprague Excavating Co. and Sprague Spruce Farms/December Shop with his wife Jean as his business partner. Ben was inducted into the first class of Strongsville’s Athletic Hall of Fame, on the Methodist church council, a Strongsville Councilman, an avid sportsman and a lifelong love of flying, having his private pilot’s license well into his 80’s. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Road Strongsville, OH 44136 Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 12-3PM and Monday, December 30, 2019, from 11-12PM where a funeral service will follow at 12PM. Interment Strongsville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Strongsville United Methodist Church.
