Barbara Smith's Obituary
Barbara Smith, 75, of Parma, OH (formerly of Eccles, WV) went home to be with the Lord on September 6th. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the end of June. Born December 1940, in McAlpin, WV. She moved to Cleveland, OH in 1968, and retired from Midland Steel Products in 1990. Barbara was the daughter of the late Roy E. Jones, Sr., Dorothy Riddle-Jones-Herron and Stepfather Hubert Herron. She was also preceded in death by her brother: Roy E. Jones, Jr. and grandson: Robert Smith. She is survived by two children, Lucinda Noel (Rick) of Strongsville, OH and Eric Smith of Brook Park, OH; grandchildren: Stacey & Adam Smith, and one brother: David Jones (Ann) of Lugoff, South Carolina. FUNERAL SERVICE will be at 11 AM FRIDAY 9/9/16, WITH VIEWING ONE HOUR PRIOR, at PARMA PARK CHURCH OF GOD 12000 HUFFMAN RD., PARMA, OH with the Rev. Eddie Noel officiating. Interment will follow at Woodvale Cemetery (corner of Fowles and Engle) 7535 Engle Road, Middleburg Heights, OH. VISITATION 4 – 8 PM THURSDAY 9/8/16, at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME 15822 PEARL ROAD, STRONGSVILLE, OH.
