Barbara Kramer's Obituary
Barbara Kramer, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 4, 1940, to the late Margaret and Charles Tishman in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
Barbara worked in the airline industry for several different airline companies. She retired with American Airlines in 2003 after 30 years. She met her husband, William Kramer, through her work. They were married on October 11, 1969, and have been married for 54 years.
Barbara and William are longtime Strongsville residents and often attended events in the city. They have been members of St. John Neumann Catholic Church since 1977. Together they were also a part of the Vanguard retirement group, which met 4 times a year, with other retirees from the airport.
She was an amazing grandmother who spent countless hours with her grandchildren throughout the years. Barbara also enjoyed traveling, especially to Maui, scratch off lottery tickets and reading the newspaper.
She is survived by her husband William Kramer; daughter Leighanne (Eric) Hustak; grandchildren Greagory, Liam, and Margaret Anne Hustak; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings James (Rosine) Tishman and Charles Tishman.
VISITATION will be held on FRIDAY, March 1st from 10am – 11am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will begin promptly at 11am, same day. Interment will take place at Strongsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Family Hospice.
