Audrey Jean Kiplinger's Obituary
Audrey Jean Kiplinger, age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Audrey lived a full and joyful life rooted in faith, family, and community.
Audrey was married for 67 wonderful years to her beloved husband, Richard Kiplinger, with whom she built a lifetime of cherished memories. Together, they raised three sons: Brian (Sharon), Brad, and the late Bruce. Audrey was a proud and loving grandmother to Katie (Nick), Colin (Rachelle), Brady, and Jaret, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Born to the late George and Violet Jordan, Audrey was also the sister of the late Kenneth Jordan. Her family remembers her as a woman of warmth, creativity, and kindness—someone who found beauty and purpose in even the simplest of moments.
Audrey loved crafting, baking, and planning parties and events, always making sure those around her felt celebrated and cared for. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was an avid churchgoer and active member of her congregation, where she shared her time and talents generously.
Audrey’s legacy of love, hospitality, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A gathering will be Sunday from 12-4pm at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Rd. Strongsville. A funeral service will be Monday at 10am at Jardine’s. Interment Strongsville Cemetery. No flowers please , the family asks that donations be made in Audrey’s name to First Lutheran Church of Strongsville 19419 Royalton Rd, Strongsville, OH 44149.
