Coach Prchlik was my mentor and teacher. He was great at both. I am so fortunate that I had such a positive influence at such a formative stage of my life. I will always treasure the privilege I had knowing Coach. Requiem in Pace. John F. Pinter, West Tech Warriors, class of 1962.
Coach Prchlik was a great coach and teacher but most importantly a great role model for us growing up at West Tech. I became a teacher and coach because of men like him. He will be missed.

Sad to learn about Art. Many years ago I worked with Art while we both served on a committee studying salaries for teachers and coaches in Cleveland. Art was as fine a man as I ever met. He was an early advocate for the rights of teachers and a firm believer in the youth of our country. I will pray for Art and his family.
