Ann Elizabeth Covel's Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Covel (nee Donze) was born December 30, 1957, and passed away on June 17, 2024 surrounded by love and family, after a brief battle with cancer. She was married to John C. Covel of Berea, for nearly 46 years. John and Ann raised their two daughters Katherine Conley (Mark) and Rebecca Kovach (Joe Sr), in Berea, OH; where they’ve lived for most of their years. Ann was a selflessly devoted grandmother to Christopher (Nickie) Frederick, Cameron, Natalie (Ryland), Hannah, Danielle, Mojo, John, Steven, Carrie (Daniel), Katie Marie (Jake), Emily (Meddi) , Mark Jr, and Bryan who preceded her in death. She was great grandmother to Alex Jr, Aubrey, Isabella, Zaynn, Levi, and CJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. William E. and Bernice J. Donze (nee Nordmann) She is also preceded in death by her brother William E. Donze Jr (Debbie), and survived by her siblings Mary (Ron), Chris (Sue), Al (Pam) and Helen (Rick). She was an aunt, great aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many.
VISITATION MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2024 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held TUESDAY 12PM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Rd, Strongsville. Interment will immediately follow mass at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 2:15PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which was an organization she loved and cared about dearly.
