Amy Gillingham (nee Simpson), age 70, passed away January 20, 2017. Beloved wife of Robert for 44 years. Devoted mother of Robert III (Angela), Matthew (Holly) and Ashley Gillingham. Dear sister of James (Carol), Terry (Jan), Arthur (the late Shirley), and Tim (Nelva). Daughter of the late Arthur and Monjenita Simpson. Loving grandmother of Reece, Callum, and Quinton. VISITATION 4-8 PM TUESDAY at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Funeral Mass 12 noon Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, Brunswick, where family will receive guests one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Private. Per Amy's request for an "Irish Wake," guests are welcome to join the family on Wednesday evening beginning at 5 pm at St. Ambrose for a celebration of Amy's life with food and beverages.
