Please accept my deep and heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your father, Lou.
I had the pleasure of experiencing Lou's fantastic fun loving spirit throughout my early childhood and teenage years. I can still see the twinkle in his eyes as he tasted cousin Margaret's fine pastries which were to be reserved for later, or when he took Alex and me to an Indians game, or when he danced with Vicky at an Evanosky wedding in the early 1960's. His presence was a gift. He knew how to bring joy and fun. Lou was an exemplary holy man. Again, Alex & Louann and Vicky & Terry and Families I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers. I am saddened to learn about the loss of Uncle Lou. It's an odd feeling to have our elders pass away, and take their place as the older generation of the family, but I see by the list of great grandchildren that is, indeed, the case.

I have so many wonderful memories of him and Aunt Marge as I was growing up. I see Uncle Lou jumping into the pool, wearing his tuxedo the day after Vickey's wedding (he was trying to be sure he got his money's worth) or sitting in his recliner in the basement of the home in Strongsville where we had so many happy times, always wearing a big smile, always cutting up and making others laugh.

I don't think I ever saw him or Aunt Marge after we moved to Kansas City, except maybe for my brother Joe's funeral, but they will live forever in happy memories of the many visits to their home and their love of life.

To Alex and LuAnn, Vickey and Terry, and your families, my deepest sympathy and loving comfort to you all.

My first ride on a motorcycle was on the back of Lou's motorcycle when I lived in the projects in Berea. I was about nine years old.
This was the beginning of a life long fascination that is still with me.
