Alex Stem, age 95. Patriarch of the “Stem Family”. Born in Johnstown, PA on 6/18/1922 to the late Alex and Anna (Sivi) Stem. Dearly beloved husband and “together again” with the late Helen (Hodos); Leaves behind spouse Dorothy (Wlotzko). On 2/15/18, the angels came to take our Dad to Heaven to be with our mom and brother, Greg. Devoted and loving father of Joyce (Bob, deceased), Suzie (Tom), Greg, deceased (Kathy), and Kim. Caring and special grandpa to Joe, Jim, Ryan (Aryn), Danielle (Mark), Brandon (Kim), Melanie, Lori, Gina (Todd), Michael, and Alex. Great-Grandpa of 12. Great-great-grandpa of 6. Brother-in-law of Tony Hanustak. Preceded in death by brother Bob (Helen) and sister Ethel (Dick). Retired supervisor from Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. Very proud to be a WWII Army Veteran. Enjoyed polka music and golf. VISITATION THURSDAY 4-8PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Mass FRIDAY 10AM at St. John Neumann Church, Strongsville. Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery, Parma.
