Our family is thinking and praying for you Ron, Karen and Riley. Our hearts are broken for you. I remember Jacob most fondly as the born leader in school with that infectious smile and laugh, fun and hysterically funny. A great friend to all, even the kids that didn't have many. Just a beautiful person with a kind soul.
I was asked to help Jake take care of the senior family dog, Annie, while the other Spences were out of town. Annie was comfortably resting in her recliner when I went over one morning to let her out and she was not interested in budging from her favorite spot. Jake helped me get her outside for her potty break and was so patient and gentle with her even when Annie was giving some major attitude. It was so sweet to see. Our sincerest condolences to Ron, Karen, Riley and the entire Spence family as you navigate this season of grief. We are sending continuous prayers to you.
Love,

One of a kind guy. Football season won’t be the same without him
I am absolutely heart broken to hear this Ron and Karen. Jacob was an amazing young man and such a pleasure to coach! I have the fondest memories of him playing football and using coach Hammy's hat as a barf nag prior to games... I ennjoyed watching him grow up and loved seeing him at St. Ignatius doing the play by play for the lacrosse games! Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and Riley. We will always think of Jake!

I’m so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you as I couldn’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through. May God fill you with his peace and comfort. I’m not going to be able to make the service unfortunately but you will be in my thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Love, cousin Robin ❤️ xoxo
I remember Jake as someone who knew how to give a joke, knew how to take a joke, and when to step in after others go to far. Compassionate and energetic kid and I’m going to miss him forever. Rest easy brother.
Our deepest sympathies Karen, Ron and Riley. We will be praying for you all. May the memories bring you some comfort during this terrible time. Love Brian and Gina
