    Richard K. Page

    April 15, 1929 - December 14, 2020

    Richard K. Page, died at his home on December 14, 2020, at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Lorene Clair. Father of Dale (deceased), David (Veronica), Daniel (Esperanza), and Darlene (Daryl). Richard was a lifelong resident of Strongsville. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951-1952. Awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star Service, and the Korean Service Medal/United Nations Service Medal. Was honorably discharged in 1951 and placed in the inactive Army Reserves until 1956. He met Lorene at the Hinchcliff Lumber Co., where they both worked in Strongsville. “Love at first sight” and were married for 65 years. He purchased land on Cook Avenue in 1954, where he built the family home. He established a successful Strongsville business, Richard Page Custom Building and Remodeling, known for his red panel truck around town. In retirement, Richard is known as the man sitting on the porch at the house with the rocks. A gravesite service will be held for Richard at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, Ohio on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10AM.
