I had the blessing of working with Ray from the time he came to Arizona and we clicked right away and I started doing little things at his house and he always made people feel like they were family he would give you the shirt off his back and he always helped others he taught me so much and I will miss him so much he and his family mean so much to me I watched a lot of you guys grow up marry have kids please keep in touch sorry for your loss I love you guys
I have known and worked with Ray for over 15 years. We would often buy and sell material to one another. I not only considered Ray a business associate but a dear friend. From the first time I met him we just seemed to have a connection. We would spend hours talking about our experiences in business and I respected his integrity, honesty and ability to always try and find a fair deal for everyone. Those experiences I will always cherish and am sad we wont get to hang out anymore. I believe though that he is at peace and no longer in pain which is a blessing. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friend he was a true gentleman. Oh yes and to Kirby who was truly Rays best friend continue watching over the shop I will stop in from time to time.

Ray Sellards was a well-known gentleman, I used to work for him at the Norton environmental Recycling Facility in Flagstaff Arizona. He always buys us workers Panda Express before or after the Holidays. What a busy man on the phone talking with other companies. Seeing him coming with a big black dodge truck with his German Shepherd. We always say “ Here comes the Boss”. Sending my condolences to Sellards family and friends. It was a pleasure meeting and working for you. Rest easy Sir Ray Sellards.
I remember Ray and Ricky riding a small tricycle together on Huss Ave. I believe we were 7 years old. I said to him "did you know your house is leaning?" The rest was history. I grew up with all the kids. Cathy and Sue and the rest of the family I am deeply sorry to hear of my old friends passing. Sending out prayers.
