Ralph H. Ludwig's Obituary
Ralph H. Ludwig, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023. He was born on October 23, 1934 to the late Paul and Martha (nee Schrober) Ludwig. Ralph attended Parma Schaaf High School and went on to join the Navy. He married Joanne Ludwig on June 15th, 1957. They had been married for 65 years. Ralph owned and operated Bahr Lumber from 1957- 2005. He enjoyed travelling and golfing. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his children David (Mary), Mark (Jane), and R. Eric (Mary Ellen) Ludwig; grandchildren Jennifer, Justin, Daniel, and Sara; and great grandchildren Blake, Claire, June, and William. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Brain; and brother Paul Ludwig. VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 3pm – 7pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A FUNERAL SERVICE will take place on Thursday, March 30th beginning at 10am, also at Jardine’s. Burial will take place at Strongsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassus Hospice, 6000 Lombardo Center, Suite 140, Seven Hills, OH 44131.
