Neil Gordon

August 7, 1960 - January 12, 2022

Neil Clarence Gordon, age 61, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2022. Neil was a lifelong resident of Strongsville. After graduating from Strongsville High in 1978 and attending a local Technical School, he joined Royal Philips, where he worked for 30 years as an E Learning Developer. He was held in very high regard for his contributions to Global E Learning Services, as well as being considered a great friend and mentor to many on his team. His faith, his family and his church were his passions. He was a board member, and later a board director at Bethel Christian Church where he joyfully served in many capacities from leading Bible Studies to mowing the back lot, and his beautiful tenor voice was a welcome contribution to the choir. He enjoyed using his writing and videography skills, especially when videotaping his 3 talented sons, who regularly served in the church music ministry. Beloved husband of 25 years to Elvira Gordon (nee Verdeflor). Loving father of Andrew, Josiah and Tyler. Treasured brother to Brenda Gordon Kirby (Gary) and Craig Gordon (Beth Kean). Cherished son of William Gordon (Betty Babapulle) and the late Nadine Gordon. Adored by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, he will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held March 5, 2022 at Bethel Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 1-3PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 3PM and a reception will follow at Bethel Christian Church, 12901 W. Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, Ohio 44130.
