Our Dear Mother Mary Ann (Fox) Branic, age 92, has finished her life’s mission and has gone home to be with her Lord. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her loving Husband, Francis Joseph Branic; Parents George B. Fox and Gertrude Fox (nee Wiley); Brothers David, Daniel, Jerome, and Sisters Mary Elizabeth and Mary Veronica. Mary Ann is survived by her children Jeff and Neomia (nee Myers) Branic, Julie (nee Branic) and Stephen Mehallo, Greg and Debbie (nee Tighe) Branic, Susan (nee Branic) and Jim Bradshaw, Mary (nee Branic) and Jim Kaminski; her Sisters Mary Martha (nee Fox) Orkiseski and Mary Christina (nee Fox) Grimme; her grandchildren Becky (Branic) and Adam Therrien, Andy and Kelly (Kolb) Branic, Elizabeth (Branic) and Corey Stebbins, Erica (Mehallo) and Chad Wilson, Aaron Mehallo, Katie (Branic) and Zach Bollinger, Molly (Branic) and Alex McVey, Emily (Branic) and Dave Cusack, Sarah (Kaminski) and Nate Bishop, Stephanie (Stepanik) and Jamey Kaminski, Jennifer (Winkler) and Dr. Michael Kaminski, Jaclyn (Rufolo) and Jonathon Kaminski, Morgan Bradshaw, James Bradshaw, John Bradshaw and Taylor Bradshaw and 18 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Mary Ann was born and raised in Altoona, PA where she achieved her R.N. diploma from the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing and married her beloved husband Francis Branic on August 16, 1952. They moved to Strongsville from Cleveland, Ohio where they raised five children. Mary Ann loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She shared this talent at St. Joseph’s Church for many years. Mary Ann had a strong faith in God and lived her life in generosity of heart to all who knew her. She created lasting memories for her family and friends through her talents of cooking, baking, sewing, and abundant sharing of wisdom and life’s treasures. Always the “encourager,” Mary Ann would bring out the best in people with her special brand of compliment. Mary Ann’s greatest gift to her family has been the bonds of her love knitted with Faith, that strengthened with the addition of each family member. She was the true heart of our family. Mass of Christian Burial will be private for immediate family members only. Interment will be held at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. No Flowers Please.
