Daniel V. DiLorenzo, a Strongsville resident, died Monday, July 27, 2020. He was 82. Daniel was born on February 10, 1938 in Queens, New York, to Daniel and Mary (Pinto) DiLorenzo. After graduating from William Cullen Bryant High School, he attended St. John’s University and earned a degree in industrial relations. He was employed by Union Carbide (later Praxair) for over four decades, most recently in sales management. Daniel is survived by his adored wife of more than 59 years, Carol (née Baker); four beloved children: Kenneth of Puerto Rico, Kerrianne Simon of Kirtland, Dana (Robert) Kenneley of Copley, and Cristi (John) Russo of Brecksville; grandchildren Rebecka and Jared Simon, and Daniel Russo; brother Richard (Sharon) of Florida and sisters Linda (Robert) Cignarella and Marilyn Chilingarian, both of New Jersey; and ten nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his cherished grandson Riley Kenneley, and his son-in-law John Simon. Calling hours are Thursday, July 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Rd., Strongsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 31 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Rd., Strongsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
