The Kobies were probably the first people we met when we moved into our house in 2000. Over the years our families became good friend with each other.
We were always there for each other and attended events of different types in the families. MaryAnne even watched our son after school for a few years. Joe was one of the best friends I've had. He was there for me and I for him. We enjoyed our shenanigans and random trips to the Amish country or riding with me to check on our camper during the off season. The best though were our trips to Home Depot. Those who know know. I met his great nephew Liam the other day and his mom had been telling him uncle Joe was sick and going to heaven. He looked at MaryAnne and said, "I wonder if there is Home Depot in heaven?" I looked at him and said, "I sure hope so because uncle Joe and I can continue our shenanigans there." I really needed that that day.
I will never forget the great times we had together. I also want to thank you for your support over the years.
Joe, you were a true friend. I will never forget you and I will treasure our time together.
Know that you will never be forgotten.
Know that I love you and appreciate our friendship.
We also want to extend our condolences to MaryAnne, Robert, Michael and Kristen and their families and the extended families.
RIP MY FRIEND. I LOVE YOU AND I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN.
❤️🙏
