Elaine was a lovely lady. I knew her from St. Joseph church. We had talks about nursing, horses, and taking care of Ben. She lost so much weight in her illness a couple years back, I hardly recognized her, but I know she recovered from that illness. I am so sorry I found out late. I would have liked to attend services for her. For the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Gone too soon.
Elaine, Joan, Janet and I used to take "sisters' trips from 1995 until 2007.
We had lots of laughs playing "Balderdash", touring Kelly's Island all day in a golf cart, and visiting Amish country. We also included our brother Russ, in the last one, and called it the "sibling trip". Elaine planned a wonderful trip for us in an A-Frame cabin in Hocking Hils, Ohio where we had caves, cliffs and hiking experiences. We quickly realized we were all "out of shape".
